VEDIC MEDITATION:

The Beginner's Course

The Beginner's Course in Vedic Meditation

Each Beginner’s course kicks off with one of my Introductory talks. It’s important for you to attend this talk first, or if you aren’t able to attend, to set up a conversation with me beforehand.

In the Introductory talk or conversation we will review some of the history of Vedic meditation, touching on what is and what isn’t “meditation”. There are many different types of meditation that differ in their approach and effect. The meditation practice I teach is strictly Vedic. During my Introductory talk I’ll explain why I believe this is the most effective meditation technique.

You’ll have an opportunity to ask your questions about the practice and benefits of meditation, and about my course, and to decide if you’d like to join a group, create your own private group, or learn with me in a one-on-one setting.

No matter which format you prefer, I’ll guide you through this beautiful and practical technique for stress relief and relaxation.

Four Days to a Self-Sustaining Practice

The course takes place over four consecutive days; we meet for 90 minutes and I’ll take you through the history and methodology of Vedic meditation, ending each of our sessions with a twenty-minute meditation.

On the first day, in a special private ceremony, I give each student the mantra that they will begin practicing with right away.

I simplify the complex concepts of this ancient practice, making Vedic meditation something that is easy to understand and simple to begin doing on your own straight away. It’s the highly relatable teachings of this ancient wisdom that make it so accessible and attainable.

After the course ends, each student is invited to join my community of students, many of whom remain in touch, form bonds and friendships, meditate together, and pursue more advanced knowledge of the Vedic practice together.

Our shared goal during this course is to lay the foundation for your own meditation at home. With the insight and knowledge I share with you, you’ll have the guidance you need to be totally self-sufficient.

That said, every student is welcome to re-take the beginner’s course as often as they wish to deepen their understanding of the concepts and access ongoing support from me and our community.
